There is perhaps no place where a sense of community is stronger than in a church. Ebenezer Lutheran is no exception. The Web objective at Ebenezer was to create a site that would reflect that sense of community. A site that would be useful, dynamic, professional, reverent, uniting, friendly, welcoming, and outreaching. The task was to capture, in digital form, the essence and history of the church, the friendliness of the congregation, the helpfulness of the church staff, the breadth of its music, learning, youth and service programs ... and the beauty of Ebenezer’s historical facilities. We believe the website we created for Ebenezer does all of these things. Judging from feedback received from members of the church, so does this client. More often than not, church websites are poorly maintained, graphically inadequate, and provide little reason for parishioners to visit them more than once in a blue moon. This is certainly not the case with Ebenezer's new site. Working closely with the church’s administrative staff and Communications Board, NewQuest is creating a constantly changing site for Ebenezer that will not only bring the congregation closer together, but which will also help the church reach deeper into the communities it serves. Work continues on the Ebenezer site. A variety of features are planned to be added in the coming months, which are described on the site.
